Welcome to the Fitness Buzz at Turnbury Park.
My name is Valerie and I instruct the Group Exercise Classes on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6:30. Classes are appropriate for all fitness levels. Stop by for more information or to try our FREE classes.

I heard jump rope is the best exercise to lose weight.
True, jumping rope is a great workout, however, the average person beginning a fitness program will probably not be able to jump long enough to burn sufficient calories, has an increased risk of injury from this activity and will get frustrated due to the degree of difficulty. Therefore, it isn't necessarily "the best exercise to lose weight". Instead I would encourage an activity such as walking or the Elyptical to build up cardiovascular endurance and setting realistic goals which will be next week's topic.
